The Parish Council resolve to support, object or register a neutral opinion for all Planning Applications in the Parish.

13/01584/COU – Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club, Wyre Common: Change of Use of Western Area Driving Range/Practice Area for siting of 20 Holiday Chalets.  NSPC supported a smaller scheme, given that only 40% of a previous scheme had been constructed.  Council raised concerns about increased vehicular access.Council Supported a smaller scheme given that only 40% of the existing chalet permission had been constructed.

13/01547/FUL – Walfords Bridge – replacement New Dwelling.  NSPC expressed concerns about the building of new property in an area designated as CS5: Open Countryside.

13/03425/FUL – Erection of a steel portal framed building, Old Station Business Park.  Supported.

13/03114/FUL - Land To The South Of Belle Vue Neen Savage Cleobury Mortimer Shropshire - Installation of 1 No. container, associated hard-standing and new access to site.

14/00978/FUL – Erection of a first floor extension and addition of balcony and external staircase to rear, 3 The Stone House Barns.  Application withdrawn.

13/05157/FUL – The Old Forge, Baveney Wood - Erection of a two storey infill extension in connection with conversion of adjoining store into additional living accommodation, single storey extension to rear lobby and replacement of existing entrance porch.  Supported.

13/04862/FUL Upper Elcott - Erection of Agricultural Steel Framed building for use as a covered feeding area for cattle.  Supported by individual COPAG Councillors.

13/04346/AGR – New Agricultural machinery steel portal building.  Upper Elcott.  Not proceeded with.

14/03243/FUL – Broome Park Cottage.  Erection of a single storey sun room extension. Permission granted by SUC.

14/03376/FUL – Erection of a first floor side extension (revised scheme), 3 The Stone House Barns.  Decision pending by SUC.

14/04184/FUL – Erection of a portal framed warehouse extension to existing.  Unit 7, Old Station Business Park.  Parish Council supported the application subject to appropriate landscaping around the site, as this was in the existing Business Park.

14/04194/FUL – Erection of a single detached affordable dwelling.  Old Station Business Park.  Council supported in principle and commented on their concerns in regard to the application.

14/04438/FUL – Removal of existing weir and formation of replacement riffle/cascade using excavated material.  Weir South West of Paper Mill Cottages.  The Council unanimously objected to this application due to strong local views and arguments for retaining the weir which is a local heritage attraction and has potential as a future source of green energy.  The Council requested that the environmental impact should be established.  A fish bypass would be an alternative option.  SUC granted permission under delegated powers on 26.11.2014.

14/04483/FUL – Erection of a first floor side extension, two storey front extension, front porch, rear single storey extension, insertion of rear dormer window and other alterations; Erection of a 3 bay detached garage and office; Erection of a stable block following demolition of existing outbuildings.  Upper Baveney Farmhouse.  Due to the scale of this development the Parish Council have requested a site visit.  The request has been made to the Applicants agent and a response has yet to be received.
